I love listening to my kids talk to their friends. Here's what I heard yesterday:

Savanna: Lainey are those jeggings you are wearing?
Lainey: I don't know. My mom just said to put them on.
Savanna: Well they are jeggings. I saw them at Justice and I have a pair. Do you even know about the store Justice because I just got a 40% off coupon in the mail for it.
Lainey: I wish I had a necklace that had pink hearts with blue stripes.
Savanna: And it was magic?!

I love that they are having a conversation but mainly it is with themselves.

Picking the boys up from school yesterday, Wyatt runs out to me and says he has to tell me something in private. He shows me a note he wrote and says that I need to sign it. I couldn't understand what it said or why it was so important. Heres what he said:

Wyatt: mom, its really no big deal but like I was in the bathroom and I put my hands over the drain for like 2 seconds to collect water. Mrs. Burke yelled at me and said I needed to tell you about the bathroom rules and write this "I'm sorry note".

Me: Dude I'm more concerned that you don't know how to spell sorry. You spelled it 'sare'.

Wyatt: I know, I know. I was upset when I was writing it so I wasn't really concenstraighting (so cute! and no I am not going to correct him on this).

Me: I understand. So how do you spell sorry?

Wyatt: Mom, cant you see I'm still upset? Geez, this has been a stressful day and now you are ruining it all for me.

I love my days! Kids are so much fun. When I have on my iron clad suit and shield I really enjoy Wyatt.
